December 2017 goal setting

December is a funny time of year. It’s when we start to look over the last year, think about the year ahead and take a little more time off to be with family.

Usually, this is when we get our team and staff to start taking a bit more time off. Work 4 days a week rather than 5. It’s a time of year that we can all start to focus on family, friends and home life.

2018 is going to be a massive year. In January, I’ll share my 2018 goals in the same way I’m going to do here.

This post is going to share my 4 main goals of December 2017.

Launch Beaver Funnels

What is it?

Beaver Funnels is our soon to be launched WordPress plugin which will allow users to create complex marketing funnels inside their WordPress dashboard, using Beaver Builder as the page builder. I want to launch Beaver Funnels as a full, paid access plugin before January 1st 2108.

Why is this important?

Beaver Funnels is what I use to build my funnels fast, quickly and easily. I use a content engine in it, which helps produce sales letter, squeeze pages and more. Funnel builders like you can start to build funnels faster, using a page builder you already use AND pay $497 a year rather than $297 per month.

How am I planning on doing it?

Mitch our developer is going great guns on the development and will soon be showing us a prototype. I have full trust in both him and our CEO Mark to deliver an outstanding plug-in shortly. Once the plug-in is live our lifetime access members will get instant access and will help us find bugs that we had missed. It’ll also become available to the public at $497 per year.

We’ll also have a competition running to win a year’s licence to the plug-in.

When will it be complete?

According to our project plan it should be live by December 31, 2018. Obviously there are a lot of hurdles in terms of the timings in the way. So I expect it to be launched between Christmas and New Year.

Who is involved?

Our lifetime members are heavily involved with the project providing feedback and the initial starter funds. Mitch and Mark from our agency Me Box are also heavily involved. Ultimately to launch the product we need yearly paying customers, of which my goal is 2000 yearly customers at $497 per year.

Joint webinar with Funnel Flows

What is it?

On December 21st I’ll be doing a live training webinar with Jakob From Funnel flows. Jakob and I have put together a training webinar on how to earn $10,000 clients using a few mindset principles and is excellent Funnel Flows.

Why is this important?

Both Jacob and I believe it is important to offer massive value upfront in order to help people. I love Funnel Flows and use it every single week. So I want to show people what Jakob and I have learnt in order to sell $10,000 marketing funnels. I also believe it’s important to foster progressive and valuable partnerships. I found Jakob to be a pleasant, hard-working and intelligent business owner of which whom I’d like to work more with.

How am I planning on doing it?

We’ve already set up the squeeze page, we’ve created a content layout. We need to finalise the slides and also make sure that our follow-up series drives as many attendants as possible. We’ve got a bit of a launch content schedule which will use as soon as we are both happy that the squeeze page is acceptable. I’ll be driving mainly traffic from my groups and email list and potentially some cold traffic as well.

When will it be complete?

The webinar goes live on 21st December. The slides will need to be finalised a couple of days before then. And we are hoping to launch the opt in page this week.

Who is involved?

Jakob Michaelis fro Funnel Flows is obviously heavily involved alongside myself. The only other people that really matter are the attendees.

What is it?

At the moment our Sell Your Service Coaching is sitting at 34 members. By the end of 2017 I’d like to be at closer to 50 members. Our coaching is currently at $100 per month, but will be raised to $197 per month in the New Year.

Why is this important?

I want to get as many early adopters as possible on our coaching plan and $100 per month. The price will be going up and also will be removing some features from the coaching plan. As the coaching becomes more sophisticated and targeted and we have more guest speakers come on and offer their insight, it’s important that the value reflects the price. But also that the price reflects the value. This is part of my goal to essentially automate a $10,000 a month income.

How am I planning on doing it?

TheI’ll be manually emailing and reaching out to people who are currently on the fence, reminding them of the price increase and all the current bonuses.

When will it be complete?

I’d like to get 10 or coaching members by December 23 or potentially just after as we are taking a week’s break end of December.

Who is involved?

This is entirely down to me and I need to start reaching out to current members and perhaps offering a free coaching call, trial or training webinar in order to convert people over the line. In all honesty I actually think this is the most important coaching and investment that a marketing funnel builder can make in their business.

Sell 1 lifetime access to ourĀ  Marketing Automation Funnel Specialist Certification (How to build a marketing automation funnel with Beaver Builder and ActiveCampaign)

What is it?

Earlier this year we released ourMarketing Automation Funnel Specialist Certification. It’s a course on how to build a marketing funnel using Beaver Builder and ActiveCampaign.

However the course also includes a certification expressing that the user is now a marketing automation funnel specialist.

It retails at $1497 for lifetime access and is an incredibly comprehensive and in-depth course on building marketing funnels within WordPress and using ActiveCampaign as the CRM and automation platform.

Why is this important

The course has currently been sold without any real strategy or planning behind it. In order to discover and understand the sales process that I could automate in future, I need to sell one course at the price it’s marketed at, and work backwards to automate that process.

At the moment the course also comes with a years coaching included, as part of the sell your service coaching programme.

How am I planning on doing it?

I need to manually email out anyone who’s expressed interest, or our hot leads inside our CRM system. Book as many calls as I can to talk people through their goals and ask them what it is they’re looking to help with. I’ll then make the offer to sell them a year’s access to the coaching as well as lifetime access to the course and all its materials.

When will it be complete?

Ideally I want to get the calls books before Christmas and potentially some for the New Year or the interim period between Christmas and New Year. However I’d like to see one full sale at $1497 by the end of 2017.

Who is involved?

I have about 25 suitable candidates for the program and for the course. I just need to sit down and start emailing them.
