Build an Alex Becker consulting funnel with GoHighLevel

Who is Alex Becker?

This is Alex Becker, and you probably know him from those really irritating adverts that cropped up on the start of every YouTube video.

However, Alex is also the CEO of a company called Hyros and in this blog post, I want to show you how Alex books consulting calls and demos for his product, agency courses.

If you want to generate more qualified leads, if you want to generate more sales calls, and if you want to build massive levels of authority and trust with anyone who books a call with you, I’m actually going to give you the funnel literally for free, and I’ll show you how a little bit later on.

Alex Becker is like a tech entrepreneur. He runs his company called Hyros.

What is Hyros?

Hyros is like an AI ads tracking program. It basically completely eliminates the problem of things like attribution. It’s hyper-accurate targeting. It’s very, very impressive and very cool bit of kit, but the cool thing is actually how they book demo calls.

One of the reasons I like this is that it generates enormous levels of trust with anyone who comes up on a consulting call and it’s a really easy way to book consulting calls.

You might’ve seen in another one of my videos where I talk about the Taki Moore funnel. This is slightly different wherein the call is upfront. The call is the call to action as opposed to being a lead magnet first.

To get a demo, I have to book a strategy call.

We can see here it’s a pretty basic strategy call-template. It might even be all done through high-level. I can’t remember. It looks very similar. It looks like high level.

I’m not going to go ahead and book this because I don’t want to waste any of their people’s time and then cancel and stuff like this. But what I am going to show you is what happens afterward.

What happens after you book a call?

After you book a call, this is the confirmation that you’re given and it basically, again, is a hyper-specific. If you’re learning anything from these guys, it’s be specific.

Don’t say, I can generate leads, increase ROI, get you more customers, increase average customers spend. Be specific.

So, how I triple ad scale using print tracking. He then has a video talking through some training and you can see how basic it is, right?

It’s just him in his studio a bit like what I’m doing now with a whiteboard talking through how he does this, and then he gets them to either join the Facebook group and get some free training.

He also talks through what happens on the call. Here’s a breakdown. We’ll contact you by text and the time of the call you’ll receive a zoom link, how to prepare, have your landing pages and checkout pages ready. Think about one to three issues that you’re having.

Now, I’ve gone through one of these calls. It was about half an hour and it was a qualification call asking if we then wanted to see a demo and then they took us through the demo of what they did. Then, they obviously tried to sign us up.

How does it works?

Here’s how this works from a whiteboard style.

We have a landing page and this is a landing page to book a call. Their main sales tool, if you’re following the seven figure freedom framework, this is one of the sales tools that we talk about. Their sales tool is booking a call, and this is just like a calendar.

There’s even sales pages where the sales page usually would end in like a here buy now, join now, download now. There is book a call.

You have to go through an application process to use this piece of software.

The reason for that by the way, is because they want to be able to triple ad scale and they need to know that you are capable of doing that.

You need to be spending about five figures a month or a week. I can’t remember.

There is a podcast interview with Chase Buckner from Go High Level and with Alex Becker talking about this software, it’s quite cool.

So, you book a call, right? You choose your little calendar, choose your slot and you choose your time.

Then, you’re taken through again to a confirmation page. This is the really smart part. The confirmation page is designed to do two things, one, increase authority, and two, qualify.

It gives you a few things. First of all, it gives you some bonus training. There’s no upsell, it just gives bonus training.

If anyone’s booked any of my calls and I’ll show you my actual funnel that I use later, I give extra training because I want to give further context to what I’m helping people do. The specific thing I want to help people do.

There’s a call to action to join the Facebook group and there’s a call to action to get another free course.

We then give you more information about the actual product, the actual page, what’s going to happen on the call, like what you need to prepare and how you need to get ready for it.

That of course leads to a bunch of other things. You’re on their email list for a start. You’re also then in their Facebook group so they’ve got other ways to be able to engage with you and you’re getting that extra free content.

If I show you the free content page, it’s this one here, and what’s really cool about this is again, there’s more like here’s how to get the free YouTube scaling ads course. It unlocks in this amount of time.

This is then a sales page with a bunch of testimonials and a bunch of sales content about the Hyros product. You then flips this whole process and the sales page comes afterward and it’s all specific, right?

He gives the bonus. He then has a massive load of testimonials and stories about the Hyros product, right? Just dripping through. It’s absolutely genius. I really like it.

Also, this segment here, where you’re then on the email list and you get the SMS reminders, this then says to you, ah, have you watched the bonus training? Have you got your free YouTube course yet? The YouTube course just unlocked. Make sure you’ve checked out the confirmation page. Make sure you’ve got a side time in your diary. Make sure you’ve done.

It basically repeats all these things here in the email marketing and the SMS marketing leading up to the actual call, which does happen on zoom.

My version

If we have a look at my version and Go High Level, you can see it’s a really basic page, just a squeeze page. We don’t have a sales page or anything for this. We just say, Hey, go ahead and book your free freedom call.

I use it in the call to action in all of these videos or use it in the blog posts, email marketing.

I just want to get more people on calls, right? Then, after they have booked it, they’re sent through to a confirmation page and the confirmation page says, “Hey, we have a Facebook group where you can join in with other people. You can also subscribe to our YouTube channel.”

I haven’t got any free content yet. That’s kind of the next thing for us to roll out and I tell people what’s happening on the call.

In our booking call, I do it slightly differently from Alex. I have a lot of qualification beforehand before we can get people coming in.

Alex has a larger team and has people whose jobs can just be to qualify people out and book demos so his qualification criteria at the early stage will be much, much lower.

I imagine as we scale, we would then want to open that up and then on the confirmation page, I have a quick 10 minute video about how to double your revenue and give you 10 hours back.

That could probably be more specific to be honest, it’s just a loom embed. There’s no crazy kind of Vimeo auto-play or anything.

I’ve got a link through to my Facebook group, which people can join for free and subscribing to our YouTube channel and I give a breakdown of exactly what I’m going to ask on the call, and I tell people what’s going to happen on the freedom call.
