Did HighLevel just kill Hootsuite?

HighLevel just released a social media planning and scheduling tool that might just bury HootSuite.

I want to share with you why this could be a huge opportunity for you to create a social media planning SaaS for your customers.

What happened?

Here’s what happened and this is a big deal.

Recently, Hootsuite raised their prices doubling them and in some cases, 10x-ing them from around $5.99 a month to $60 a month.

In my particular case, it was raised from $40 to $80.

While I understand that businesses have to raise their prices and I’m sure it’ll work out fine for HootSuite.

Fewer customers with the same revenue, lower support costs, and better quality customers.

However, for me paying $80 plus a month for a load of features that I wasn’t really using didn’t make sense.

Then I realized, it doesn’t make sense for my customers either.

That’s where HighLevel comes in.

HighLevel’s Social Media Platform

You see, HighLevel released as social media planning, scheduling, and reporting tool earlier this month in April.

This week, they released integrations with both Instagram and Facebook groups, which are two big lead generation sources for lots of businesses, myself included.

Now, directly inside HighLevel, you can create, plan, and schedule Instagram, Facebook page, Facebook group, and Google my business posts with some reporting coming soon.

What many businesses want from a social media planning tool is a way to create and schedule posts. Many of the features that Hootsuite offers aren’t really useful to smaller businesses.

Here’s where it gets really crazy.

High-level now offers the social media planning tool as an option inside their SaaS platform.

This means that you could create a social media planning tool for your customers with way more useful features than Hootsuite and save your customers $80 a month.

If that’s not a killer offer, I don’t know what is.

Are you using Hootsuite and have you been affected by the price rise?

How much are you paying per month?

I’d love to know down in the comments below.

I’m talking a lot about this in my Facebook group for apex marketers. Head over to www.sellyourservice.co.uk/facebook to be redirected or search for Sell Your Service Private Mastermind and join the group and get a free 10-minute brainstorming call one-on-one with a member of my team.

So, to recap.

HootSuite has massively raised its prices and it’s worth checking with your customers if they’re now paying more for the same platform.

Also, ask them if they’re using the features that they’re paying for and what they really value.

I’ll promise you that what they really want is planning, scheduling, and yet a little bit of reporting.

Next, set up a HighLevel SaaS package with social media planning and explain how you can reduce their costs all the while, giving them some other epic features like courses, email marketing, automation, and a CRM.
