We all struggle with decision-making.
Especially when it comes to those big, life-altering choices.
But I have a method.
And it revolves around understanding your values.
Let me tell you a story.
A while back, I had an opportunity to get last-minute tickets to see The Foo Fighters.
Sounds great, right?
But there was a catch.
My partner was sick, really sick, and needed me.
Here’s the thing, I only had 10 minutes to decide.
So, how did I do it?
It’s about knowing my values and what comes second to those values.
See, when two values clash, that’s when conflict arises.
And that’s when decision-making becomes hard.
But when you’re clear on your values, you can make the “right” decision quickly.
But here’s the kicker.
The right thing to do is usually the harder, less convenient, less attractive, and longer-term decision.
That’s just the way it goes.
The trick is to commit to your decision.
Even if it’s hard.
So, what are your values?
And when were you last challenged to choose between them?
