Whenever people ask me “What’s the easiest money I could make?” I always tell them the same thing.
“Get a job.”
Working for someone else is the easiest money you’ll ever make. Turn up, clock in and collect a paycheque.
My goal, when I was fired from my corporate marketing job, was to never ever work for anyone else.
Ever.
And for the most part, I’ve held to that.
For years I worked LONGER hours and made less money than I would for a job.
I didn’t have one boss, I had ten.
Customers, the bank, vendors, suppliers.
I needed to work for all of them.
But slowly slowly, I built my way out of my business.
I created assets that drive traffic for years.
I created videos and sales letters that made sales 24 hours a day.
I hired good people who work hard and are more detail oriented than me, to deliver work to clients.
And now, I have a multiple six figure income and I work a few days a week, a few hours a day.
Mainly doing stuff like this – writing.
And it only took me 12 years.
