1. Know what you want (and make sure they know what you want). Work on this the most. Have something to work towards. A specific goal with time frames and metrics.
2. Have the courage to be disliked. I get comments like this all the time:
Interestingly, never from people who have themselves accomplished anything. And it doesn’t matter because I have HUNDREDS of comments, emails and videos from people saying I’ve helped them. If you fear being disliked because of your goal or method, you’ll never get anywhere.
3. Stop getting better at marketing, start getting better at knowing your client’s problems.
