Do you remember the first AI images that came out of Google?
It was like David Lynch and Tim Burton had a baby (are those guys still considered ok to even mention?)

Images like this were the first AI images we ever saw, and at the time, people said “Well this is garbage.”
Now, AI image generation is so good, far exceeding deep fakes of the past (although those are very good) and it’s hard to believe just how realistic they can get.
No one noticed that AI wrote almost all my emails last year.
This one you’re reading now happens to be real.
And now, we’ve got Sora from OpenAI.
For those who don’t know, Sora is an AI video platform.
And we’ve had AI video for a while now, from a few different competitors.
It’s not flawless by any means, but this is the worst it’ll be.
It’s only going to get better.
And it’s already pretty good.
These are a couple of videos I made yesterday.
I’m already seeing how I can use this for stock videos on YouTube.
But we WANT more competitors, because that drives innovation.
100% – there’s a MASSIVE problem with work attribution.
I personally feel that the blockchain could have been really well used here to make sure artists get paid and credited with copied work.
But that’s another story.
Remember page builders for WordPress?
There was an EXPLOSION of them in the 10’s. They all sucked, mostly.
But then they got better and better. Built off the back of previous flash based website builders.
My point, is that AI content creation is going to become SO good and SO realistic that you might wonder what the future holds.
Are marketing agencies and marketers still needed?
When people have have a robot create the video, voice, copy, posting schedule and even the comments and engagement, what’s left for the marketer?
Well I’m glad you asked because, if anything, I believe markers will be MORE needed than ever in the future.
You’ll have to read the next blog to find out why.
