If I had to start from scratch, like, literally from absolute zero.
No social media presence, no past clients, no testimonials, no portfolio.
This is how I’d get my first $25,000 client.
First, I’d make sure I pick a niche and a market that is easily fixable.
It’s one thing to work with people who need your help, it’s much easier to work with people who can afford your help.
I’d make sure that for $25,000 I’d be able to get them at least $100,000 worth of results.
Which means focusing on people with $10,000+ products, an email list, current traffic and proven sales.
Second, I’d spend 10x more time on qualification than on selling or marketing myself.
People would need to prove to me that they can even see a return on investing $25,000 in their own business.
There would be a qualification form, a 10 minute triage call and a 45 minute deep dive call that would make sure I can get them results in 2 weeks.
What I’m looking for is one AWESOME client that I will absolutely get results for.
Third and final, I’d write 100 versions of an “offer” that are too good to ignore.
“I’ll help you land 5 x $50,000 clients in 31 days”
“I help machine engineering companies land $100,000 clients in 45 days (with no ads)”
I’d write dozens of them over and over until I was happy that I had someone I could promote.
Then I’d find my ideal customer’s audience and spend 3 – 4 weeks immersing myself in their world.
Following their social profiles, buying their books, even booking sales calls or buying their products with their sales team.
