Where I stand

I want to take a moment to say something that’s been on my mind for a while.

The world feels chaotic right now—politically, socially, and economically.

When things get uncertain, it’s easy to see who gets blamed: not the people in power, not the corporations hoarding wealth, but marginalized communities.

The trans community, the LGBTQ+ community, disabled and differently abled people, women, immigrants—these are the groups that get targeted instead of the ones actually responsible for the problems we’re facing.

I’m not okay with that.

It’s easy as a business owner to keep my head down, to avoid saying anything that might upset someone for fear of losing money.

But that’s not who I am.

I want you to know that I stand with these communities.

If you’re part of them, you’re safe here.

I’m not the guy who’s going to turn around and start blaming minorities for economic struggles, or buy into the rhetoric that tries to make them the enemy.

We should be holding power to account, not attacking those with less of it.

I know not everyone on this list will agree with me, and that’s fine. But I believe that business isn’t just about making money—it’s about who we choose to be and what we stand for.

So if you ever felt like you didn’t belong in certain spaces, I want you to know you belong here.

And if you’re not a part of those communities, that’s ok – we’re part of something bigger here anyway.

I’ve always said the mission of Sell Your Service is “self permission, self empowerment and self confidence”.

That’s it. Just wanted to say it out loud.
