There’s a deadly and critical mistake that you’re making every single day, that’s KILLING your business.
If you’re not making the money you want, it’s because you’re making this mistake.
Every single time-
And I mean EVERY single time, I’ve highlighted this mistake, businesses have turned their sales around.
Everyone from software, SaaS, marketers, pharmaceuticals, security consultants, sports therapists, 3D printer farms and more.
This mistake is called “The Mountain Climber” mistake.
And it’ll kill your business if you ignore it.
The good news is that you can fix it.
And I’m going to do that right now.
For $1000.
Joking.
The bad news is that you’ve been making this mistake since you were a child.
Worst of all, you’ve been taught to do this and you’re not even aware of it.
Because as far as you’re aware, this is exactly what you SHOULD be doing.
Imagine you’ve posted a video or a piece of content, aimed at your audience, telling them how to solve a problem that you’re an expert in.
It’s clear, informative, not boring, simple to follow and easy to implement.
You’d think that video would get a ton of views, right?
Because it’s exactly what people want.
It’s even what people SAY they want.
“I just wish someone would tell me the simple, straightforward answer and I’ll just do that.”
How often have you heard that?
But the video gets almost zero views, no engagement and it doesn’t net any sales or leads.
Bummer.
And when you write your home page or proposal or sales offer copy, you read it back over and maybe even share it with some friends.
Other experts in your field read it over and say things like “yeah this is good”.
Maybe they even suggest “have you talked about conversion rate optimisation?” or “you should mention your 5 speed harmonic frequency roaster to show that you’re an expert.”
So you fill your content, copy and offer with the worst possible thing you could.
Credibility.
Credibility is killing your business.
Because credibility has a massive flaw.
It means absolutely nothing to the wrong person.
You, are an expert. You have already CLIMBED to the top of the mountain.
Hence “the mountain climber problem”.
If a brand new, wet-behind-the-ears, absolute beginner asks a mountain climbing expert “how do I get to the top?”
The mountain climber expert will talk about routes, rope types, climbing altitudes, carabinas.
You can probably tell I’m not a mountaineer.
All that stuff, the stuff the experts talk about is exciting.
And it’s credible.
To OTHER mountain climbers.
Do you know the #1 question that mountain climber experts get, when they lead an expedition?
It’s not “what type of belay system are we using?” it’s not “what’s the strength of the rope?”
It’s this.
“What will the view be like from the top?”
Your credibility is only credible, to other people in your field. Your peers.
Your customers are NOT interested in your credentials.
They’re interested in what THEIR credentials will be when they reach the top.Change your offer and copy.
