There are two people who like to run businesses.
People who like to make sales.
And people who like to do the work.
I am someone who likes to make sales.
It’s more rewarding to me to close a customer, than deliver the work.
If I had to pay 60% to 80% of what I make to have someone else work with the customer, or deliver the product, I’m absolutely fine with that.
On the other hand there are people who love working with clients.
They enjoy delivering results, working alongside people and solving problems.
I realised that a big part of my motivation was lost, because I was spending too much time in the wrong area.
I didn’t want to to coach or consult any more.
I wanted to work on my sales process and create opportunities for other people.
The idea of passing leads and sales over to other talented, dedicated, excited people fills me with joy.
It’s why I moved to an affiliate model.
Creating helpful content at the top of the funnel for traffic (YouTube), showing people how to get great results and then showing them software that can execute those ideas – that’s a fantastic, fun business model that I love.
If you’re not feeling motivated, there’s a reason for it.
It might be because you’re in the wrong half of the business.
