Blogging guidelines

We’re delighted that you’re looking to submit a guest post to our blog. We have a few guidelines that will make sure your post is read, gets traffic and sends you link traffic.

We don’t do mass appeal

Sell Your Service’s audience is funnel builders. People and businesses that build marketing funnels for their customers.

Generic advice just won’t cut it with our readers and we won’t publish anything generic or aimed at a generic audience.

Be controversial or entertaining

Tell us something that you believe that other people should know. Or go against the grain and tell our readers why something they believe is wrong.

If you can’t be controversial, be entertaining. Attention is the currency of the internet and if your post doesn’t capture and keep our readers attention, you just won’t get the traffic you want.

If you’re an expert – show us

Blog posts are an excellent way to demonstrate that you’re the expert. Experts have models, frameworks, evidence, case studies, diagrams, processes, systems, templates and intellectual property media.

Show us what you’ve got. Use this as a platform for your ideas and show us your expertise.

Get to the point

Don’t fuck around (you can swear too) with intro fluff or needless synonyms. What’s the problem, what are you promising or solving and how can people benefit?

Great writing is punchy and to the point. We can see through “word count bump” and we know it turns our readers off.

I can’t wait to see what your blog post looks like. Email me michael@sellyourservice.co.uk
