I jumped on every new opportunity I could to try and grow my funnel business. I just wanted to pay my bills, save a little money and care for my family. But none of these “hyped up, killer business tactics” ever worked for me. There was something drastically wrong with what I was doing.

All these marketing tactics taught me that if I sold this killer tactic, I'd have customers lining up to do business with me. Every new opportunity was a brand new product I could sell and people were DESPERATE for.

No time to grow the business

All the time I spent delivering funnels to customers, finding new tactics and jumping on new opportunities meant that I never had time to grow the business. There's a massive misconception that there is some magical profitable niche out there, waiting with cash in hand, to buy your funnel products.

Niche experts often talk about killer or rich niches. We all know that choosing a niche leads to wealth right?! The problem is that there is no magic profitable niche. You must create that yourself (I'll talk about that later) and work at drawing wealth from a niche. They're not sitting there waiting to buy.

There's no secret killer marketing strategy

There's also no magic killer secret marketing strategy. For every new trend, technology and platform - you're being sold “fear of missing out” (FOMO) rather than the results they drive. Guess what? If this new bot or app or plugin REALLY is going to skyrocket your business, it'll be around in another year.

Tried jumping on new opportunities?

I've also seen funnel builders go from fad to fad, opportunity to opportunity. Never seeing results from any of them. But the problem isn't the opportunity. To be fair to Facebook bots, remarketing, video marketing and every other tactic, they ALL work - but only when you add one ingredient over and over. Persistence.

The cost of living goes up every year - you need to make bank

Inflation is driving up the cost of just being alive year on year. Conservative government estimates put inflation at around 1%-2%, but more realistic costs estimate hidden inflation at around 10% per year.

For every year you live and run your business, you have to increase your sales by 10% just to stay in the game.

So many money making opportunities but without a plan, none of them work

I talked about tactics + persistence, that's what makes opportunities work. Your business has more opportunities than every business before in the last 100 years. You have infinite wealth and resources available to you if you stick to a plan.

Hype merchants

Hype merchants will tell you there are opportunities everywhere, without sticking at it you'll never be successful. Without a plan and sticking to that plan for a LONG time, every penny you spend on EVERY tactic will be wasted money.
