January 2018 Goal Setting

So here it is. 2018. Personally, I couldn’t wait to get back to work. I love helping people and finding new ways to build relationships and businesses.

January is all about planning for me. I love to set up the year ahead and the next 12 weeks. You can read my 2018 goals here and see how I plan on making $1 million.

Complete the Year Compass

What is it?

Year Compass (http://yearcompass.com/) is a free workbook that I’ve done for a couple of years now. It’s a workbook that allows you to review the past year and plan your year ahead

Why is this important?

We’re all too quick to jump into a resolution or talk about how “bad” last year was. To me, showing gratitude for what happened in 2017, opens me up to receiving more of what I appreciate in 2018.

How am I planning on doing it?

Block out 3 hours and smash through the worksheet.

Plan 12 month content strategy

What is it?

While yearly planning is a killer for some people. I’ve been looking more and more at the maths of content and strategy and I’m convinced that I can maximise the amount of traffic I attract, leads I generate and impact I have on the world if I plan out my content 12 months in advance.

I want to produce a 52 week, 12 month content calendar with blog post titles. topics, lead magnets and follow up strategies.

Why is this important?

It’s become clear to me that I need to leverage my time and assets better. By planning out the journey and funnel that customers can take, starting with the content, I can automate my sales process easier and more effectively.

How am I planning on doing it?

Start with my 10 x 10 content matrix exercise (found here) and choose topics for each week. Make sure the lead magnets are in place and after 12 weeks, all my silos are automated where I can just continue to add content.

What is it?

Part of my regular, repeat sales process needs to be sales webinars which attract new customers, increase trust in me and position my products on the end of the call.

I have 3 core offers and I’ll be rotating the offer during the calls.

Why is this important?

Push Beaver Funnels public

What is it?

Beaver Funnels is a plugin designed to make building marketing funnels on WordPress easier and faster than ever. We’ve got the prototype running and January will be our launch date.

Why is this important?

Beaver Funnels is my chance to scale our business faster than ever. We’ll be able to help more people build and sell funnels, which excites me!

How am I planning on doing it?

Get the alpha (v 0.9) in the hands of the early adopters as soon as possible (this week?).

Then once we’re ready to launch, run a ton of ads, webinars and promotions for a few weeks to really push sales.

When will it be complete?

I want the launch to be up and running by the end of January 2018.

Who is involved?

Mark, my CEO. Me as the marketing lead and Mitch as CTO/Head of development.

Sell 10 coaching customers

What is it?

January is a great time of year to plan ahead, work on your business and start to scale your own funnel agency. I want to get 10 new customers on board at $100 per month (we’ll be increasing the price end of January).

Why is this important?

We’ll be upping the price to $197 per month from the end of January and I want to make sure that everyone has enough time to get on board before the price goes us.

How am I planning on doing it?

Remember that webinar above? I’ll give you a guess as to what we’re going to sell on it.

When will it be complete?

30th Jan is when I want to get the 10 sales.
