February 2018 Goals

January has shot past at the speed of light. I didn’t even realise we’re a week into February when I started to write this post.

February is all about focus and scale. We’ve launched a bunch of new products and I want to roll them out to as many people as possible. You can read my 2018 goals here and see how I plan on making $1 million.

I’ve also written up a review of my January 2018 goals below and whether I completed them.

100 Beaver Funnel sales

What is it?

Beaver Funnels is now live and can take payments! In fact, you can sign up and get a 10% discount for the whole of February (10PERCENT) by signing up here.

Beaver Funnels is a plugin for WordPress that let’s you build funnels SUPER fast and VERY easy.

It lets you use Beaver Builder as the page builder for your funnels. It includes 5 funnel types, a content engine to write all the content in the funnel AND visualise pages in a funnel order.

Why is this important?

This is our new flagship plugin. It’s a natural progression from our flagship course (below) on building funnels with ActiveCampaign and Beaver Builder. I want to generate 2000 sales in 2018 alone, so 100 in the launch month would be a great start.

How am I planning on doing it?

  1. Telling EVERYONE I know about it via email
  2. Promoting it on Facebook and Twitter
  3. Joining podcasts and plugging the hell out of it
  4. Creating tons of videos walking through the benefits

When will it be complete?

End of February, Wednesday 28th.

12 month content strategy for Beaver Funnels

What is it?

I want a 12 month blog and video strategy for Beaver Funnels. It might also include webinars and a few paid ads to promote the plugin.

 

Why is this important?

For long term sustainable growth for Beaver Funnels, I need a content strategy that attracts customers on automation. To plan it out for 12 months means we can execute our content strategy every week to scale.

It also gives us a clearer idea of who we need to hire for content.

How am I planning on doing it?

Quip baby. We use Quip for everything. Similar to my Sell Your Service content strategy, I’ll use the 10×10 matrix to generate content ideas and decide when I record videos and publish videos and blogs.

When will it be complete?

16th February

Sell 10 flagship certifications

What is it?

Sell Your Service has a flagship certification on becoming a certified marketing automation funnel expert.

Under the new pricing model, we’re offering the course for $1497 for lifetime access.

Why is this important?

My goal is to sell 10 certifications a month, completely on automation. This would exponentially grow our revenue for a relatively small input.

How am I planning on doing it?

  1. Create a webinar for end of February (below)
  2. Record the webinar and create a squeeze funnel for it
  3. Promote the course to splinter customers
  4. Write launch sequence and sales sequence

When will it be complete?

28th February 2018

Who is involved?

$10 000 revenue through Sell Your Service

What is it?

We’re SO close to a $10k month and I want February to be that month.

Why is this important?

My goal is to get SYS to $10k every month. Which is $120 000 a year, for a coaching and certification company.

How am I planning on doing it?

10 certifications on top of our current membership.

Certification webinar

What is it?

In order to create 10 initial certification sales AND begin to grow our new coaching membership, I need to create a sales webinar that attracts new leads and converts them into customers.

Why is this important?

I love selling online and helping people realise the potential of their business. Once it’s recorded, I can run the webinar on automation as a training program and generate sales on automation.

How am I planning on doing it?

  1. Pick a date for the webinar (Friday 23rd February)
  2. Promote the squeeze page and sign ups with emails
  3. Follow up emails written to attendees and “missed-its”
  4. Create the slides and focus on the benefits of the certification

January 2018 goal review

Complete the Year Compass

What is it?

Year Compass (http://yearcompass.com/) is a free workbook that I’ve done for a couple of years now. It’s a workbook that allows you to review the past year and plan your year ahead

What happened?

I completed the Year Compass and it REALLY helped my focus. I also READ it every night and morning – which is what makes it work.

Plan 12 month content strategy

What is it?

While yearly planning is a killer for some people. I’ve been looking more and more at the maths of content and strategy and I’m convinced that I can maximise the amount of traffic I attract, leads I generate and impact I have on the world if I plan out my content 12 months in advance.

I want to produce a 52 week, 12 month content calendar with blog post titles. topics, lead magnets and follow up strategies.

What happened?

This took longer than I thought and was a little harder than I remembered. However, with my goals for 2018 and focus from the goal above clear. I created a 12 month blog and video strategy in Quip.

Build first webinar of 2018 for Sell Your Service

What is it?

Part of my regular, repeat sales process needs to be sales webinars which attract new customers, increase trust in me and position my products on the end of the call.

I have 3 core offers and I’ll be rotating the offer during the calls.

What happened?

Nailed it. It’s live and I’ll be a millionaire this year.

Sell 10 coaching customers

What is it?

January is a great time of year to plan ahead, work on your business and start to scale your own funnel agency. I want to get 10 new customers on board at $100 per month (we’ll be increasing the price end of January).

What happened?

We sold over 10 coaching customers which made everything feel AMAZING!
