In many ways, I’m a mess.
A writer? Not my strongest suit.
Business owner? Questionable at best.
Yet, here’s a surprise.
Despite all my flaws, I ace one thing.
I. Get. Shit. Done.
The secret?
Not multi-tasking. Not hustling 24/7.
But a peculiar combination of discipline and meditation.
First, I zoom in on my goal, like a laser.
Remember my lunatic 5 kilometre world record for walking lunges?
Nothing else mattered, but that lunging challenge.
Building a YouTube empire?
I’d shut everything else down, focusing only on that.
Second, my daily ritual? Brainstorming.
Every single day, without fail.
Ideas go into Obsidian.md – a good 10 of them.
A brief meditation follows.
It’s where more ideas quietly sneak in.
But here’s the twist.
I don’t act on those ideas immediately.
They stew, marinate and often, fade.
Because once the initial shine wears off?
Many ideas don’t seem that groundbreaking.
Lastly, my to-do list? Never more than three items.
Anything outside? Doesn’t exist for the day.
Could less really be the key to accomplishing more?
