Is ClickFunnels dying?

ClickFunnels has been losing clients, influencers, users, and interest since 2020 and all because of one, underground, unknown app.

THIS IS 100% NOT A SALES LETTER.

This new app is eating into their market share and redefining what it means to be a “marketing platform” in the 2020’s.

Back in 2015 or so when ClickFunnels launched, it was a revolutionary approach to building marketing and sales funnels.

The idea that the t-shirt store owner or info-product seller could quickly hammer out a sales funnel, was to some, absolutely what they needed.

And Edison (the company that owns CF), Brunson, and a few others knew exactly what they were doing.

Releasing books, podcasts, events, communities.

It’s no wonder that the whole platform swarmed over the internet by storm and shook up what people knew about building an online business.

And what’s fascinating is that they weren’t the FIRST to do it or even the BEST.

But they made it the most accessible.

They sold a dream of “one funnel away” and it stuck.

People bought it.

Influencers and internet marketers promoted it.

They even invented an award to celebrate those people who made $1M through their funnels.

But it had ONE major downfall.

And that weakness has been opened, exploited, and capitalised on by faster moving businesses in 2024 who want to offer what CF does on an AGENCY level.

ClickFunnels knows its market, but the real growth opportunity is going to be in how this new app allows their customers to make money.

This new software is eating into not only ClickFunnels’ market share. But ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, GoDaddy, WP Engine, page builders, SMS senders, Squarespace, Wix, Teachable, Circle and more.

Because what they’ve done is combine all the best apps and put them into one platform.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m talking about HighLevel.

If you don’t know what HighLevel is…

Imagine getting all those apps I mentioned above and — being able to whitelabel and resell them to YOUR clients.

It’s like a software development company in your pocket for 0.1% the price of a full dev team.

To me, HighLevel represents the single largest shift in agency sales since we could link payments to a button.

But it’s more than that.

Because ClickFunnels represents the old way of doing things.

That the technology and platforms are what matters.

HighLevel understands that it’s the business and customer that matters.

There’s zero point in being an expert in the technology especially when you can get all this for $97.

Instead, you need to be an expert in your client and their problems.

People solve problems.

ClickFunnels needs to rapidly change its approach to how they allow customers to make money if they don’t want to be irrelevant in 5 – 10 years time.
