Do this if you actually want to grow

It occurred to me that I’ve never shared this one CRITICAL activity that I do, multiple times a week, that basically guarantees growth.

If you’ve ever wondered what some people/businesses do that’s different from everyone else – it’ll be this.

And the best part? 

It’s totally free.

A few years back I made the shift into focusing full time on YouTube.

Still working with agencies, focusing on helping you land $25,000 clients.

But I wanted to mainly give free content on YouTube and figure out the money after that.

And something I was struggling with was growing the views of my channel.

It had always hovered around 8000 views a month which is pretty low.

I knew it could be higher and I wanted it to be higher.

By the way, the thing I’m talking about is not buying courses or coaching or anything like that.

And so my objective was simple:

Launch a video that gets over 1000 views in a week.

I knew it could be done.

But I didn’t know what I was doing wrong.

I didn’t want to buy another course or hire another coach.

Instead, I did something totally free, fast and now it’s so valuable I wouldn’t stop it for anything.

In fact, I’d rather keep doing this than buy another course ever again.

Before I tell you what it is, it’s worth noting that it works.

I’ve had multiple videos with way more than 1000 views a week. 

Plus my goals have shifted.

And, perhaps most importantly, but as an united side effect, I now have a group of people who understand what I’m going through and working on.

Step 1: Decide what your goal is. If something is going to change – what is that thing. Put a number, time and metric to it. E.g. Release a video that does 1000 views in a week.

Step 2: Find a group of people who are in the same space. Ideally, a mix of people with a different audience (a few people in the same audience is ok).

For example. I’m in the agency space. So I found a group of people who do YouTube and do it seriously/full time, who all have different audiences. One or two are in the agency space.

But it was important to me to have different views. So we have people in music, tech, fashion, yoga, law, food, running and a few others.

Step 3: Open a WhatsApp group and share goals with each other.

Step 4: Here’s the magic. This is the ONE thing I do.

I set up a group accountability and problem solving call once a week with everyone.

I then also try to do a 1:1 call with as many people as possible to get their feedback, share ideas, hold each other accountable, test ideas and solve problems.

It’s been an absolute game changer.

And I realised, I’ve done this for YEARS.

Running an agency, coaching company, writing a book, exercise, diet, even my cancer treatment.

By finding a few people I can connect with 1:1 once a week on a call, during whatever problem I’m trying to solve, I have vastly outpaced myself if I was doing it alone.

My advice to you would be start an accountability group ASAP and get on 1:1 calls.

Some of these calls have been going for YEARS and I wouldn’t drop them for anything.
