Pareto’s Principle or the 80/20 rule states that 80% of your results come from 20% of your work.
And we also know that to be true for customers.
I know that 80% of our revenue comes from roughly 20% of our customer base.
What I tend to spend most of my time doing, is thinking.
I actually have this thing here called a reMarkable, where I do an enormous amount of writing, note-taking, dictation, and trying to figure out all the ideas I’ve got in my head.
What I have found, if I can spend 20% of my time prioritising and trying to learn more and understand my own business and what I want to achieve, and then disseminating that to the team and explaining that to the team, the better everyone does.
So the less time I spend doing the work, doing the creation, all this kind of stuff.
And the more time prioritising, understanding what to prioritise, and telling my team where we’re headed, the better we always do revenue wise.
